The Poison Apple: Unmasking the Dangerous Theocratic Designs behind Fox News Headlines

Hello, good people! Lilith Goodman here. Once upon a time, I sat curled up on my couch, glued to Fox News, convinced they were the lone bearers of "truth". That was Shelly Goodman, a woman I barely recognise now. My transformation from Shelly to Lilith, from a hateful Christian-nationalist extremist to a Satanist who champions religious pluralism and LGBTQ+ rights, has been a startling but enlightening journey.

My 'Road to Damascus' moment led me to scrutinize media outlets such as Fox News more critically. I quickly realized that what I'd been unthinkingly swallowing was far-right Christo-fascist propaganda. At first glance, their headlines might seem innocuous, but look a little deeper and the frightening theocratic agenda becomes clear.

"VP Harris goes viral for new ‘accent’ at Detroit rally, sparking comparison to iconic cartoon". This is Fox News at its most adept. By mocking a high-ranking female official, they stir the pot of resentment, prejudice and misogyny in their viewers. Instead of focusing on policy and political prowess, they trivialize and resort to personal attacks, re-framing them as legitimate political commentary.

"Mob of Turkish nationalists ambush, attack US Marines: ‘Yankee, go home!’”. Ah, the classic fear-mongering tactic. By amplifying such incidents, Fox News sows seeds of fear and mistrust in the hearts of their audience, while carefully avoiding any nuanced reporting which might recognise the complexity of international relations.

"Hamas terrorists taunt families of slain hostages with disturbing video footage". While there is no denying the horror of terrorism, portraying the Muslim world as a monolith of hate only fuels Islamophobia and intolerance. It is a green light for the hateful Christian nationalists to fear and dehumanise other religions, therefore strengthening their own false claims to superiority.

And then we have the outright baffling: "Elon Musk meets fire with fire after judge bans X throughout his entire country". Sensationalism at its best, propagating the idea that there are forces working against American prosperity, further stirring the paranoid dragon that is rampant within their viewership.

Lastly, headlines like "WNBA Hall of Famer apologizes after alleged Caitlin Clark leaks surface" are clear indicators of bigotry and prejudice against the LGBTQ+ community. By making such incidents public, Fox News encourages ridicule and discrimination against trans individuals.

Their purpose is clear - to foster a rich-controlled theocracy where anyone outside the narrow band of their ideology, especially LGBTQ+ people, are subject to hatred, prejudice, and marginalization. Don't be fooled, friends. These are not just news headlines. They are stepping stones, creating a path towards a frightening future where the church and the rich control the state and human rights are mere afterthoughts.

We must remain vigilant about the consumption of such toxic media. Distortions, omissions, and misrepresentations serve their purpose only too well - but now that we can see through their hollow pretense, it is our responsibility to combat their damaging effects.

Stay safe, stay informed.

Yours in Satanism,
Lilith Goodman.
